Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EmbedEasy ("we", "us") handles information in connection with EE-Bulk Discount Codes (the "App"). This policy applies to the App only.

1. The data we access

The App requests the minimum Shopify access scopes it needs: read_discounts, write_discounts. The App does not request, access, or store your customers' personal data, orders, products, or any other store data outside of its core function.

2. Information we process

• Store & authentication data: your store domain and the access token Shopify issues to the App, stored securely; the discounts you select and the redeem codes you generate, import, export, or delete; and code files you upload or download, stored only temporarily to complete the request.
• Technical & usage data: standard server log data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and anonymous performance metrics used to keep the App reliable.

3. How we use it

We use the data only to operate the App: to authenticate you with Shopify, perform the App's functions, enforce plan limits, and maintain reliability and security. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. What we do not collect

• We do not process or store payment card information; billing is handled entirely by Shopify.
• We do not collect any personal information beyond what the App needs to function.

5. Service providers

We share data with Shopify, and with trusted third-party providers that host and run the App, only as needed for the App to work. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. Retention & deletion

We keep your data only while the App is installed and only as long as needed to provide the service. When you uninstall the App, or when Shopify sends a data-erasure request, we delete the data associated with your store. Temporary files are removed automatically after use.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Most such requests are satisfied by uninstalling the App. You can also email us at embedeasymod@gmail.com.

8. Data security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with reputable infrastructure providers that encrypt data at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
